Details
The SmartPure Plasmid Kit is a convenient tool for the purification of plasmid DNA from bacterial cell cultures. A unique feature of this kit is the silica-based membrane of the purification cartridge which efficiently separates plasmid DNA from the reaction mixture. Purification is completed within 20 minutes with a typical yield of up to 40 µg plasmid DNA/1-5 mL E. coli culture (dependent upon plasmid copy number and culture OD). The isolated plasmid can then be used immediately in any upstream molecular biology application. Refer to Technical Data Sheet for kit components and instructions for use.
